High Court Stays Bangladesh Bank AD Recruitment Test

The High Court (HC) today stayed for one month Bangladesh Bank assistant director (AD) recruitment test, which was scheduled to be held on October 28.

A High Court division bench comprising Justice Md Mozibur Rahman Miah and Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque Akondo passed the order after holding hearing on a writ petition filed in this regard.

The court also issued a rule, asking finance secretary, public administration secretary, Bangladesh Bank governor and director of its human resource wing to respond.

The central bank authorities published the circular for recruitment of AD (general) on May 10, 2022. A candidate named Mirja Rakibul Hasan filed the writ, challenging the maximum age limit matter in the circular.
