Primary School Recruitment: Final Phase Exam Held Today

The third and final phase of recruitment for assistant teachers in government primary schools is held today in 21 districts of Dhaka and Chattogram divisions, excluding three hill districts.

The examination commenced today, Friday (March 29), from 10 am and continued until 11 am. Against 6 thousand 202 seats, the total number of candidates is 3 lakh 49 thousand 293. The total number of centers in this examination was 414.

The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has issued a cautionary notice regarding this examination, stating that recruitment for assistant teachers in primary schools will be based solely on merit and qualifications. There is no opportunity for bribery or any other unethical means to secure a position.

Yesterday, on Thursday (March 28), in a cautionary notice signed by the Director-General of the Primary Education Department, Shah Rejwan Hayaat, it was stated that this examination will be conducted with complete transparency and impartiality. All necessary tasks, including role number allocation, seating arrangements, question paper distribution and printing, answer script evaluation, and result preparation, will be done automatically through software.

The security of the examination centers has been ensured with the assistance of law enforcement agencies, and strict measures have been taken to prevent any unauthorized activities. There is no room for any illegal intervention. In this regard, everyone is requested to be vigilant and refrain from any financial transactions or involvement with any broker network. Digital means of malpractice are also discouraged.

It has been requested that if anyone is tempted by the prospect of exchanging money for a job, they should be reported to the nearest police station or informed to the relevant authorities.

The Directorate of Primary Education has informed that the probable dates for the viva voce in these two divisions will be from May 5 to May 20, and the final results will be published on June 10.
