Apurba, Tisha to appear in ‘Ekti Sukhobor’ tomorrow

Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Tanjin Tisha, two small-screen popular artistes in the country, will be seen performing together in a special tele-drama titled ‘Ekti Sukhobor’. Directed by Sagar Jahan, the tele-drama will be aired tomorrow at 9:05pm on Banglavision, a private TV channel.

The story of ‘Ekti Sukhobor’ is written by Apurno Rubel while shooting of the drama took place this month in Tongi area under the capital.

About the current small-screen industry, Sagar Jahan said, “The trend of single-episode drama is at its peak. Thus, I am getting the opportunity to work with new playwrights like Apurno Rubel and plan to work with fresh playwrights in future too.”

“Tisha has earlier worked in my written drama and this is the first time she has worked under my direction. She is a dedicated artiste and follows the direction accordingly. Apurba, as usual, gave an amazing performance”, the director added further.

“I always try to work in the dramas containing unique story. ‘Ekti Sukhobor’ is such type of drama. I hope the audience will like it”, said Apurba on his part.

Working under the direction of Sagar Jahan for the first time, Tisha said, “The story of ‘Ekti Sukhobor’ is really good. Under the direction of Sagar Bhai (Sagar Jahan), I have done a unique work. I hope the drama will entertain the audiences.” l
