Sushant Singh Rajput Commits Suicide: Reports

Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his home in Mumbai, according to many local media reports. He was 34 years old.

The police confirmed that the actor hung himself in his Bandra house.

According to the news, the star wasn't feeling good for a couple of days. After the lockdown, he was living there.

The post-mortem reports are awaited.

Sushant’s death comes just barely a week after his former manager Disha Salian reportedly committed suicide last Monday by jumping off the 14th floor of her apartment in Mumbai.

“It’s such devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha's family and friends. May your soul rest in peace,” Sushant had said back then.

Sushant Singh Rajput started his career with the television show Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and grew to popularity with another one — Pavitra Rishta. His Bollywood debut was with the movie Kai Po Che! Based on Chetan Bhagat's best-selling book The Three Mistakes of My Life.

The actor was last seen in Chhichhore.
