Andrew Kishore to Be Buried in Rajshahi Today

Andrew Kishore will rest at noon on Wednesday at the Christian Cemetery next to the Collectorate Ground in Rajshahi.

He's going to be laid there according to his final wishes. There are the graves of his mum, his father, and his brother in the cemetery.

His body will be taken from the cold storage of Rajshah Medical College Hospital to Rajshah City Church. Funeral ceremonies can be offered there and citizens will bill for their condolences.

A stage was set up in front of the Rajshah City Church to pay tribute to Andrew Kishore. Close relatives including his wife Lipika Andrew, his son Joy Andrew Saptak and his daughter Minim Andrew built the stage.

Andrew Kishore's brother-in-law Dr Patrick Bipul Biswas said, "We have been waiting so long for his children to come as per her last wish. His son arrived in Rajshahi from Australia last Thursday and his daughter on Monday. So there is no need to delay."

He added, "The body will be taken to the church from the freezer at 10 am today. There, after the funeral, people can pay their respects. He will be buried at around 1 pm."

On the evening of July 6, Andrew Kishore passed away at his sister's house in Mahishabathan area of ​​Rajshahi after battling cancer for 10 months.
