Pop Star Ferdous Wahid Hospitalised

Prominent pop singer Ferdous Wahid has been admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital with fever on Thursday.

Moshrraf- an assistant to Ferdous- said the singer was taken to the hospital in the evening and the doctors kept him under observation, reports media.

Wahid sent his sample to the Anwar Khan Medical College and the COVID-19 Hospital a week ago, after displaying signs of the disease, but the test results came negative, he said.

The 67-year-old has been suffering from heart disease, hypertension and diabetes for a number of years.
