Remembering One of The Greatest Showmen of Bangladesh- Faridi

Humayun Faridi, one of the most celebrated actors of Bangladesh. Today is the 69th birthday of this legendary actor. He was born on May 29, 1952, in Narinda, Dhaka.

Humayun Faridi was one of the organizers of the Dhaka Theater. He also served as the organizer of Village Theater for a long time. He achieved outstanding fame for his flowing performances on stage, TV, and in films. 

While acting on stage, TV, and in films, Humayun Faridi was able to create his own acting role, which made him unique in the media. 

Humayun Faridi died on February 13, 2012, suffering from chronic lung disease in his residence.

He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for best actor for his lead role in the film Matritto (2004) while he was awarded Ekushey Padak posthumously in 2018. The government announced his name as one of the eminent citizens for awarding prestigious Ekushey Padak for 2018 for his contribution to the film industry.
