Nawazuddin Siddiqui Denies Starring Opposite Jaya Ahsan

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has denied reports that he will star in the online series "Naxal Bari Uprising" alongside Jaya Ahsan.

He also denied working in any OTT platform series in a recent interview with News 18.

Earlier, Jaya Ahsan was said to star with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in her upcoming Bollywood debut through online series.

The news of Jaya Ahsan's Bollywood debut opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui was originally reported by popular Indian news portals such as Anandabazar Patrika.

"I am not doing any web series. These are all rumors and I haven't signed anything", Nawazuddin Siddiqui said during the interview.

"I am not interested in doing anything on OTT unless something that really excites me comes up", he added.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been nominated for a 21 International Emmy Award in the category Best Performance by an Actor for his part in Sudhir Mishra's "Serious Man."
