Bangladeshi Films Called for 94th Oscar Submission

The Bangladesh Committee for the 94th Academy Awards has welcomed Bangladeshi films made in Bengali to be nominated in the Best International Feature Film (Foreign Language Competition) category.

Authorities stated in an email that they will be permitted to participate in the selection process for any full-length film with English subtitles that will be exhibited for seven consecutive days in Bangladeshi cinemas after January 1st.

Filmmakers who want to be considered for the competition should pick up a photo submission form and comprehensive guidelines from Ashirbad Cholochitro's office (7/9 Eastern Commercial Complex, 73 Kakrail; email: [email protected]) by October 14 at 5 p.m.

The Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies has organized a nine-member committee, chaired by media figure Habibur Rahman Khan, to recommend Bangladeshi films in the Best International Feature Film category of the Oscars, as it does every year.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present the 94th Academy Awards, which will honor the finest films released since March 1, 2021, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
