Suborna Mustafa Named among Sub-Committee Members of Parliamentary Standing Committee

Noted actress Suborna Mustafa has become a member of the sub-committee of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

It is learned that the parliamentary standing committee on the Ministry of Culture has formed this sub-committee to look into why the committees of Shilpakala Academy are not being formed in 42 districts of the country.

Awami League's cultural secretary Asim Kumar Ukil is also on the three-member sub-committee convened by Kazi Keramat Ali.

The sub-committee was formed at a meeting of the parliamentary committee held at the parliament building. According to a press release issued by the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting discussed in detail the main problems in the formation of a full-fledged executive committee of the District Shilpakala Academy and ways to overcome them.
