Samantha to Appear in Another Item Song

Samantha danced in Allu Arjun's Pushpa for her debut item song. Oo Antava Mama Oooo Antava' is a popular song. Samantha has stated that she sang the song with a lot of nervousness and that she was not sure if she wanted to do it until the last minute. However, the hesitancy appears to be gone now.

Samantha reportedly signed her second item song in Vijay Deverakonda's Liger, according to rumours.

The crew was looking for a star heroine for the song, and with Pushpa's popularity, they had no qualms. Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda earlier collaborated on Mahanati.

Liger is Vijay Deverakonda's first pan-India film, with Karan Johar producing the Hindi version. The film is set to be released on August 25th.

Vijay Deverakonda plays an MMA fighter in Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Mike Tyson, the famous boxer, makes a cameo appearance in the film.

The Liger crew is preparing a big promotional effort for the picture, given the positive response Telugu films have had in the North.
