Ilias Kanchan and Nipun Panel have announced
their election manifesto for the upcoming Film Artistes' Association elections with 22
promises. The announcement was made by the panel's presidential candidate Ilias
Kanchan at a restaurant in the capital on Wednesday (January 26th) at noon.
The members of the Kanchan-Nipun panel are
participating in the upcoming elections under the slogan 'Our Artist on Dignity
and Screen', said Ilias Kanchan. On this day, he presented their 22-point
manifesto in front of the journalists.
22 promises of Kanchan-Nipun panel:
- To take initiative for the arrival of Hon'ble
Prime Minister in the FDC established by the Father of the Nation.
- Maximum utilization for the welfare of artists
as per the policy of ‘Film Artists Welfare Trust 2021’.
- To present the overall condition of the film to
the Hon'ble Prime Minister and to arrange a big amount of funds for the
production of the films on easy terms.
- Restoring and reinstating the rights of those
members whose membership has been unjustly revoked, suspended and
disenfranchised.
- To stand by and help the artist community in any
disaster, problem and adverse situation.
- Not to publicly post pictures/videos of any
aid activities to protect the honor and dignity of the recipients.
- Arrangements are made to provide festival
allowances and gifts to low-income members at all types of religious festivals
(such as the two Eids, Durga Puja, Christmas and the Buddhist full moon) to
share the joy.
- Arranging for the employment of our artists
abroad through mutual exchange of views and signing of artist exchange
agreements with the artist organizations of the neighboring countries and
different countries.
- To further develop the technology to enrich the
website of the artist association.
- All artist profiles will be created. Providing
international casting directors by creating profiles of dance and action scene
artists in particular. Since there is no use of language, our artists can work
for dance and action scenes in movies of any country in the world which the
neighboring countries have done in the past.
- To make arrangements for the inclusion of the
President of the Artists' Association in various committees related to Film and
Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, including the Film Censor
Board.
- Ensuring special insurance for artists
performing in risky scenes and group insurance for all.
- Initiating and implementing agreements for
special discounts with several hospitals and diagnostic labs to facilitate the
medical activities of the artists.
- Scholarships will be given to the meritorious
children of the artists and their parents will be given reception.
- Establish an advisory committee of film
personalities and veterans to make the film industry more prosperous and
stable, and provide assistance to new producers, from film manuscripts to film
releases.
- Arrange for mutual exchanges and seminars with
all film-related associations.
- Initiative to set up Artist Training Institute.
There will be curriculum and training for all types of artists.
- Initiatives to set up dance studios and fight
and stunt studios for dancers and a gymnasium with state-of-the-art equipment.
- Initiatives to set up makeup salons and parlors
suitable for all artists.
- To arrange special workshops with legendary
artists of the country and abroad to enhance the quality of their profession.
- Ensuring the representation of artists in the
Prime Minister's state visit and cultural tour abroad.
- To strive for the protection of the dignity and
rights of the members of the Artists' Association and once one becomes a member
their membership will be reserved for life. However, membership can be
suspended if someone is accused of being involved in serious activities against
the constitution and the state and if it is proved under investigation. Which
will be raised in the general meeting and final approval will be taken.
