The Appellate Division has announced that Zayed Khan has been suspended and Nipun has been elected as the new General Secretary.

In a news conference today, Sohanur Rahman Sohan, the chief of the appellate division, announced the suspension of both Zayed Khan and executive panel member Chunnu.

"We have found enough evidence to prove that Zayed Khan is involved in bribing the voters. We got 2 written complaints from people who have accepted money from the actor," said Sohanur Rahman Sohan. There are also photos and screenshots to prove that he was involved in illegal communities. As a result, we have decided to denounce his candidacy and announce Nipun as the new General Secretary," he said.

Nipun, along with her panel members and supporters, arrived to BFDC around 4:15 p.m. Artists who lost their voting privileges during the Misha Sawdagar-Zayed Khan panel's prior committee staged different demonstrations and marches to protest Zayed Khan.

The demonstrators continually screamed "We Want Justice" and demanded Zayed Khan's resignation. Protesters painted Alpana on their bodies and demanded Zayed Khan's resignation as General Secretary. Zayed Khan, on the other hand, contended that the appellate board was unconstitutional and refused to attend the meeting.

Sohanur Rahman Sohan further stated that Zayed Khan's absence won't make any difference in the meeting as the main plaintiff, Nipun, is present at the committee meeting. The final decision will be sent to the Ministry of Social Welfare soon.

Nipun, the General Secretary opponent, had previously filed a formal complaint with the Chairman of the Appellate Board, requesting that both Zayed Khan and Chunnu be canceled. The Ministry of Social Welfare provided the appellate division the authority to alleviate the situation.
