Team India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant and actress Urvashi Rautela have remained the talk of the town for allegedly taking pot shots at each other on social media. While Pant is regarded as one of the biggest stars in world cricket, actress Urvashi is a popular model, who has appeared in Bollywood movies like Sanam Re (2016), Great Grand Masti (2016), and Hate Story 4 (2018).

The rumoured ex-couple has traded insults on social media by making cryptic posts on their official social media handles. At a time when both celebrities have garnered the attention of the netizens on social media, Indian cricketer Pant has shared a noteworthy post on Instagram. One of the biggest stars in world cricket, Pant enjoys a massive fan following, especially on Instagram.

On Saturday, Pant opted to share a philosophical quote with his social media family. “Don’t stress over what you cannot control,” Pant shared the quote through Instagram Stories.

Pant's reaction has come after actress Urvashi opted to hit back at the Indian cricketer following her explosive remark about the Delhi Capitals (DC) captain in an interview. "Chotu bhaiya should play bat ball. Main koi munni badnaam nahi hoon badnam hone with young kiddo darling tere liye (I won't be shamed because of a kid like you)," the model-actress wrote in one of her latest Instagram posts.

Earlier, Pant's deleted Instagram story about the popular actress had made headlines. “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them“#merapichachorhoBehen #Jhutkibhilimithotihai,” Pant mentioned in his now-deleted post.

On the work front, wicketkeeper-batter Pant made his return to the Indian T20I side in the West Indies series. Pant, who captained India in the South Africa series, has been named in the Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2022. Pant-starrer Team India will meet arch-rivals Pakistan in their Asia Cup opener on August 28.
