Mahi's Husband's Showroom Vandalized

Rakib Sarkar, husband of actress Mahiya Mahi, a prominent businessman and Awami League leader of Gazipur, his car showroom was attacked and vandalized.

The attack took place on Friday (March 17) at around 5 am in the car showroom called Sonyraj Car Palace on the east side of Alam Government College in Bhawal Badr of Gazipur city.

Rakib Sarkar said that around 5 o'clock in the morning on Friday, a group of miscreants led by Ismail Hossain Laden and Mamun Sarkar attacked a car showroom named Sonyraj Car Palace and vandalized it extensively. The assailants broke the gate of his showroom and entered and broke various furniture, glass doors and windows and table chairs and removed the signboard of the showroom. Miscreants ransacked his office and looted money. When Rakib Sarkar's people rushed to the spot after receiving the news, the miscreants escaped.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Basan Police Station Sanwar Jahan said that the police rushed to the spot after receiving the information on 999. None of the miscreants were found there. If complaints are received, legal action will be taken after the investigation.

Rakib Sarkar is currently staying in Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Umrah with his wife Mahiya Mahi. They will return home tomorrow Saturday.
