Bulbul Mahalanbeesh and Ashfaqur Rahman is no more in the same day

The sound soldier of Swadhin Bangla Betar- Bulbul Mahalanbeesh, has gone to the land of no return. He took her last breath on Friday morning after a prolonged illness. 

Bulbul Mahalanbeesh was also famous as a poet , writer, musician, dramatist and reciter. Besides, she used to present various programs on art-literature-culture on televisions as well as on wire stage.

Earlier, on the afternoon of December 16, 1971, the song 'Vijay Nishan Udche Ai' was being broadcasted from Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra in Ballygunge, Kolkata, when at the very moment the Pakistani forces were surrendering at the Race Course Maidan. 

Hero freedom fighter Bulbul Mahalanbeesh is one of the artists who gave her voice to the timeless song at the historical moment of Bengali victory. She is also a leading figure in the country's cultural movement.

Nazrul Musician Bulbul Mahalanbeesh is the vice-president of Nazrul Sangeet Shilpi Parishad, General Secretary Rabindra Academy, Jatiya Kavita Parishad, Kachikachhar Mela, Udichi, Sector Commanders Forum, Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra Shilpi Parishad and she had been performing many important duties of many cultural and social organizations. However, above all, he carried the identity of artist-vocal warrior of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra with humble pride.

She has two music albums including more than 12 published books. Also she recevied for contribution to literature and culture - Chayan Gold Medal, Dewan Mohammad Azraf Foundation Award, West Bengal Nazrul Academy Award.

Meanwile the another famous and eminent program pesenter of Shwadhin bangla Betar Kendra Ashfaqur Rahman also died on Friday. Earlier he had been suffering form various diseases. It is noted, with his solo help after the liberation todays Bangladesh Betar had bee formed. Also he is well known for one of the important witness of Bangnadhu Killing Case. 

From the family source it’s being informed that after Namaz-E-Janaja his funeral will be held on Sholoshahar of Munshiganj at his famaily residence. But for the case of Bulbul no decision has been taken yet.
