Raima to Play a Mother in ‘Hawa Bodol 2’

The well-known trio from the 2013 movie "Hawa Bodol," Jeet, Tanuka, and Raj, are regrouping for a follow-up to the entertaining journey. The original film was well praised for its novel subject matter and the outstanding work of Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Rudranil Ghosh, and Raima Sen. Anusha Viswanathan joins the primary cast of the sequel, which is once again directed by Parambrata. 

The stars gathered in Kolkata recently for the muhurat ceremony of the upcoming rom-com to officially launch this thrilling production. Tanuka's performer Raima looked stunning in a green salwar suit.

She expressed her joy to reprise her role as Tanuka, who is now the mother of a 17-year-old kid called Kabir, as she reflected on the changes over the years. This time, Kabir is represented as a mature man in the 12th grade, as opposed to the last movie where he was portrayed as a child by a different actor.

In contrast to other actors, Raima readily accepts parental parts and favors characters with nuance. She expressed her displeasure with the current trend of glamorous parts for actors and emphasized the necessity to concentrate on exhibiting skill rather than glamorizing depictions. She strives to be genuine and give performances that connect with the audience.

The filming for "Hawa Bodol 2" is set to commence soon, and the trio of Parambrata, Rudranil, and Raima will travel to London for the shoot.
