Tisha, Shuvoo to Grace TIFF with ‘Mujib’

Leading actors Arifin Shuvoo and Nusrat Imrose Tisha will go to Toronto for the occasion to watch the highly anticipated movie "Mujib: The Making of a Nation" at the famous 48th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

The information was verified to the media by Mohammad Golam Azam, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Eminent Indian director Shyam Benegal created this cinematic masterpiece, which explores the extraordinary life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation.

Arifin Shuvoo plays the crucial role of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in this joint Bangladesh-India production, while Nusrat Imrose Tisha depicts Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib admirably.

The movie will make its debut on the world stage during the much awaited screening. The event is slated to take place in Toronto, Canada, from September 7–17.

The film is anticipated to get a theatrical distribution between September and December after its festival premiere. As a result of international cooperation, the movie will open simultaneously in Bangladesh and India.
