President Hugs Shakib Khan after Watching 'Priyotoma'

The President of Bangladesh, Md. Sahabuddin, attended the movie "Priyotoma," starring Shakib Khan, which had a successful Eid release. He watched the film at 8:00 PM on Friday, September 1st, at the Star Cineplex in SKS Tower, the capital.

The president's spouse, the actor Shakib Khan, producer Arshad Adnan, director Himel Ashraf, singer Prince Mahmud, Tarin, Nusrat Faria, Elina Sammi, Riyad, Somsher, and many others involved in the film industry were present at the event.

Shakib Khan shared a video on social media where the President, after watching the film, is seen holding him tightly. The atmosphere at Star Cineplex created a sense of emotion.

Furthermore, on Friday night, producer Himel Ashraf shared a photo on Facebook with the President and his spouse, stating that the President and his family enjoyed the movie "Priyotoma" at Bangabhaban. He expressed his gratitude to Arshad Adnan, Shakib Khan, Faruk, and the entire "Priyotoma" team. Himel Ashraf mentioned that many might say that the President watched the film because it was produced by his son, Arshad Adnan, but the real reason is the appreciation of ordinary viewers. The film has touched the hearts of common people in Bangladesh and abroad, enriching their experience.

Notably, "Priyotoma," directed by Himel Ashraf and produced by Arshad Adnan, features a story written by the late Faruk Hossain. In the film, Idhika Paul, a Kolkata actress, plays opposite Shakib Khan. The movie also stars Kazi Hayat, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Elina Sammi, Don, and Sahid Nobi, among others.
