In the 1990s, Salman Shah was a popular actor in Bangladesh’s Film industry, Dhallywood. Today, Wednesday, September 6, is his 27th death anniversary. Even after all these years since his death, he is still equally popular. Fans and his colleagues in the film industry have not forgotten him, even today. Salman's death is a big mystery to them.
Boishakhi Television's investigative special docu-film about the actor Salman Shah, 'Smritite Salman Shah', is looking for the answer. It will be aired today at 12:30 PM.
Tarek Sikder has written and
scripted the docu-film under the planning and overall supervision of Tipu
Alam Milon, Deputy Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Baisakhi
Television. Apart from this, the documentary was edited by Tajdid Ul Islam, filmed
by Md Belal Hossain. Dulal Khan served as coordinator. The construction was
supervised by Program Manager Leetu Solaiman.
Journalist Dulal Khan, the
coordinator and Salman Shah's friend, said that many unknown things have come
up in the research of this documentary.
He said that the investigating
officer of the case, mother Neela Chowdhury, uncle Alamgir Kumkum, wife Samira,
director Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Chhatku Ahmed, actors Ferdous, Don, Rituparna,
Bhabna, Nirob, Sakib Suleri, Mali Zakir and witness Dolly Begum and many others
spoke about Salman Shah. Along with this, there is the statement of PBI chief
Banaj Kumar Majumder who submitted the final report on Salman Shah's suicide
case.
