Khairun Nahar, mother of Dhaka movie’s most renowned actor Arifin Shuvoo, passed away (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un). She breathed her last on Wednesday (January 24) at 11:55 pm while undergoing treatment at Neuro Science Hospital in the capital Dhaka. She was 70 years old at the time of her death.

Arifin Shuvoo, a very mother-loving son, is naturally saddened by his mother’s death. On Thursday (January 25) around 8:30 am, the actor posted an emotional status on his social media Facebook verified page, confirming the death of his mother.

Arifin Shuvoo was seen with his mother in the post. Sharing the picture of the beautiful mother-son moment, he captioned, “My mother has gone to Allah (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un). Mother suddenly fell ill on January 21 afternoon. Since then, my mother fought the last battle of her life in the intensive care unit of the hospital.”

“It ended on January 24 at 11:55 pm due to cerebral hemorrhage. Mother was buried in Shahid Buddhijibi Grave Yard after Namaz-e-Janaza at Kaloni Central Jame Masjid and Jameul Uloom Madrasa Complex in Dhaka after Fajr prayer,” Shuvoo also wrote.

Seeking prayers for his mother from fans and well-wishers, Shuvoo wrote, “All of you have prayed for my mother before, and this time you will keep my mother in your prayers, InShaAllah.”

Mentioned that since the release of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s biopic “Mujib: The Making of a Nation”, Arifin Shuvoo has been in discussion. He played the role of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the movie. His performance has been applauded in various circles.
