Kolkata Film Fest Showcases 'Manikganj er Manik Palace'

'Manikganj er Manik Palace', based on Faridur Reza Sagar's acclaimed "Choto Kaku" series, was recently presented at the 10th Kolkata International Children's Film Festival. Featured in the "Cinema of the World" segment, the film was directed by actor-producer Afzal Hossain.

Running from January 25 to January 29, the festival showcased 111 films from 30 countries, offering a varied selection of cinematic works tailored for children.

Afzal Hossain, renowned for his involvement in the "Choto Kaku" series, not only helmed the film but also reprised his role as Choto Kaku in this cinematic interpretation. The cast includes Orsha and Simanto.

The 10th Kolkata International Children's Film Festival served as a platform for a global audience to enjoy a diverse array of cinematic creations tailored for children.
