'Sarfarosh' Producers Wanted SRK Not Aamir Khan In His Film

Director John Matthew Matthan revealed that producers initially wanted Shah Rukh Khan for the lead role. However, Matthan had Aamir in his mind for the role.

‘Sarfarosh’ recently completed 25 years since release. The film, headlined by Aamir Khan, gave him a break from the romantic film hero image. As the film completed 25 years, director John Matthew Matthan revealed that the producers of the film wanted Shah Rukh Khan to play the lead. However, Matthan was adamant to have Aamir Khan in the lead.
