No Local Company Permitted Yet to Produce Vaccine

The Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) said no local pharmaceutical company has been permitted yet to produce the Covid-19 vaccine in the country. 

DGHS came up with the announcement following some media reports claiming Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited got DGDA permission to produce the vaccine developed by Chinese company Sinopharm in the country.

Citing the reports untrue, DGHS requested all electronic and print media outlets not to publish such confusing reports.
