Bangladesh Records 78 More Coronavirus Deaths

The number of detected coronavirus cases in Bangladesh, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), on Monday, rose to 856,304 as 4,636 more cases were reported after testing 24,057 samples in the last 24 hours.

During that time 78 Covid-19 patients died, raising the total deaths in the country to 13,626, said a press release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Monday.

The rate of detection in the last 24 hours until 8:00 am was 19.27 percent.

The health directorate said a total of 2,827 people recovered from the highly infectious disease in last 24 hours taking the tally of recovered people to 785,482.

Among the Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, 56 are men and 22 women.
