The government has suspended the transfer orders of the doctors who have information-related errors about their posts. The health ministry issued the order on Tuesday (July 6th), giving
new instructions to doctors, especially BCS (health) cadres or health service
officials, to resolve the complexities of implementing the attachment order.
The
information was given on Tuesday (July 6) night in a directive signed by Deputy
Secretary of the Health Services division Abu Raihan Miah.
According
to the directive, various memoranda dated 04/07/2021 and 05/07/2021 of the Health
Services Division were posted in the attachments of Assistant Professors and
Lecturers in different hospitals to provide services to Covid-19 patients. Due
to the lack of information, the following physicians may have been assigned to
these attachment orders.
A.
Physicians involved in other lab activities including RT-PCR Labs.
B.
Physicians involved with treatment at Covid Dedicated Hospital.
C.
The only physician in the various departments of the medical college, who is involved
in educational activities.
In
some cases, the order may have been flawed due to inaccurate information about
the doctors' current workplace.
D.
If there is any complication in the implementation of the attachment order due
to the stated reasons, the implementation of the order of the concerned doctors
has been postponed and it has been requested to send their list by e-mail to
the Per-1 branch of this department by 08/07/2021 stating the obvious reasons.
Earlier, the list of doctors who were transferred or posted by the order of the Ministry of Health included the names of some doctors who had retired from government service long ago. Some have even died.
