Bangladesh Records 225 More Coronavirus Deaths

Bangladesh saw a spike in Covid-19 deaths and infections, with 225 more persons dying from the virus and 11,578 testing positive in the 24 hours leading up to 8 am on Sunday.

On Friday, the number of people died in a single day fell to 187, before rising to 204 the next day.

In addition, the number of new cases fell below 10,000 yesterday, with 8,489 new infections reported in just 24 hours.

With the newest additions, the overall number of deaths in the country has risen to 17,894 and the number of cases has risen to 11,03,989 across the country.
