DGHS Director (Disease
Control) Prof Dr Nazmul Islam, who is the spokesperson for the health directorate,
said there was enough stock of vaccines to give the second dose.
He made the remarks in the
health bulletin of the health directorate on Wednesday (August 11th).
Professor Dr. Nazmul Islam
said the vaccination program has been carried out by ensuring the second dose
for those who have taken the first dose of Pfizer and Moderna Coronavirus
vaccines. Those who have taken the first dose of the vaccine will be able to
take the second vaccine four weeks later.
"Through the media, we
would like to request the first dose vaccinators to take the second dose in
four weeks time," he added. There is no room for anyone to be confused
about this.
