194 More Dengue Patients Hospitalized in 24 Hrs

In the last 24 hours, 194 new patients have been admitted to different hospitals across the country due to dengue fever.

The information was given in a statement on dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday (October 3).

194 new dengue patients have been admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country, the statement said. Of these, 143 were admitted in Dhaka and 51 outside Dhaka.

At present, a total of 955 dengue patients are admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country. Of these, 758 patients are admitted to 46 government and private hospitals in Dhaka and a total of 197 patients are admitted to other departments at present.

From January 1 to October 3 this year, the total number of patients admitted to various hospitals is 18,744. At the same time, 17,721 patients returned home from the hospital. So far 68 people have died due to dengue.
