No Covid-19 Death, 1685 Cases Reported in Country

Bangladesh today reported 1,685 fresh cases in the last 24 hours but no death was reported during the time.

It was said in a notification sent from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today, Wednesday (June 24).

The official tally showed that the virus killed 29,135 people and infected 19,62,213 so far, the statement added. 

A total of 13,833 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The current positivity rate is 12.18 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.75 percent.

The recovery count rose to 19,06,417 after another 185 patients were discharged from the dedicated hospitals during the past one day.

From the beginning of the pandemic, 97.16 percent of Covid-19 patients recovered among the infected people while 1.48 percent died, the DGHS statistics showed.
