Dengue Death Toll Crosses 700 Mark

Another 15 people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll in dengue stood at 706. During this period, another 1,876 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue.

This is known from the information provided by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Friday (September 8).

In the last 24 hours, 842 dengue patients are from Dhaka and 1,034 are outside Dhaka.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, there are currently 9,730 patients admitted to various public and private hospitals across the country. Among them, 4 thousand 265 people are in Dhaka, and the remaining 5 thousand 465 people are in other departments outside Dhaka.

Since January 1 of this year, 1 lakh 42 thousand 587 patients have been admitted and 1 lakh 32 thousand 151 have been discharged.
