Dental Admission Test Results Published, 545 Candidates Selected

The results of the Dental (BDS) admission test for the academic year 2023-2024 have been published. A total of 545 candidates have been selected preliminarily. The applicants can view the results through the respective website and via SMS notifications.

A notice signed by Dr. Md. Mohiuddin Matubbar, Director (Medical Education) of the Directorate General of Health Services, was issued today (March 10) regarding this information.

Furthermore, it's mentioned in the notice that candidates were selected primarily based on the scores obtained in the admission test, combined with the GPA obtained in SSC/HSC or equivalent examinations. Among the selected candidates, 513 were chosen based on merit quota, 27 under the freedom fighter quota, and 5 seats were reserved for the backward community group. These candidates will be eligible for admission to 1 government dental college and 8 government medical college dental units.

Relevant candidates will receive information via SMS at the TeleTalk number 01550155555. Additionally, information regarding admission will be available from the respective offices of the heads of the dental colleges/medical college dental units. Admission notices for private dental colleges/medical college dental units will be published later.

Previously, on March 8, the admission test for Dental (BDS) for the academic year 2023-2024 was conducted. This year, the examination was held at 20 venues in a total of 12 centers across the country, with the participation of 50,795 candidates.
