Want To Eliminate Unemployment From Jhenaidah: Newly Elected MP Mohul

Those who were elected from Jhenaidah-2 (Sadar-Harinakundu) constituency in the past could not take this town forward. People of these two upazilas complain that the district city is lagging behind year after year. All business, education, health, and communication infrastructure of the district has fallen behind. Any advanced institutions, whether it be education or business, are nothing to be seen. 

Shampratik Deshkal's district correspondent Nasim Ansari has interviewed The newly elected Member of Parliament of Jhenaidah-2 constituency Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee Mohul about all these issues.

Shampratik Deshkal: Firstly, a big Congratulations to you for winning the election from the Jhenaidah-II (Sadar-Harinakundu) seat with an absolute majority. What will be the first thing you do in the development of this seat?

Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee Mohul: Thank you. I think the first task in the development of the Jhenaidah-2 (Sadar-Harinakundu) constituency is to employ the youth of the area. Life is easy to organize if people have jobs. And if a person's income is ensured, he/she can contribute to society. Therefore my task will be to establish a university in joint venture. This will increase the number of educated youth. They can play a role in the development of the area. Our BSCIC Industrial Estate is neglected. There is no big industrial plant built there even today. Which is very sad. I will encourage the industrialists and entrepreneurs from different parts of the country so that they can set up an industrial zone in Jhenaidah. I will do whatever I can to promote the cottage industry.

Shampratik Deshkal: What are your thoughts on the healthcare sector in Jhenaidah?

Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee Mohul: The healthcare sector of the district is not very satisfactory. There is no good facility for cancer, heart, brain, or kidney disease in the district. We don't have any specialized hospital here. I will try to establish a specialized hospital in Jhenaidah. I would like to establish a medical college if the government approves it.

Shampratik Deshkal: What are your plans for the development of communication systems in this area?

Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee Mohul: A rail line is much-needed in Jhenaidah. You know that in the plan of the government, the railway line is going up to the neighboring district Magura. If the connection with Jhenaidah can be extended by just 25 km, then I think there will be a revolutionary change if rail communication is established with the whole country. That's why I will try in this regard. As if it is possible to extend it somehow.

He further said, I want to form a prosperous Jhenaidah district by taking everyone with me and by my side. I want to get rid of fights, quarrels, violence, and terror from this Jhenaidah. There will be different groups, opinions, sects, and religions but there will be harmony among people. I will do whatever it takes to build harmony.

Finally, Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee Mohul said, I was elected with huge votes only for the people. Thanks to them. I was forever indebted. Now it's my turn to work. Everyone pray for me that I may fulfill the words that I promise to them. Only then will I consider myself successful.
