3 Bangladeshi Expatriate Students Dead in Qatar Road Accident

Three Bangladeshi expatriates died in a road accident in Qatar last night, Bangladeshi community sources said, reports media.

All the deceased -- Ahmed Safwan (21), son of Iqbal Ahmed of Sylhet; Isran (22), son of Nurul Islam of Chattogram; and AzharulHaque Joy (22), son of Fazlul Haque of Feni -- were students and they were living in Qatar with their families.

The accident occurred on Al Shamal road around 9 pm yesterday.

According to Bangladeshi community sources, their car's tyre was punctured on Al Shamal road.

When the three were repairing it, another car hit their vehicle from behind -- leaving one of them dead on the spot.

Two other seriously injured were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
