Iconic Third Terminal Of Shahjalal Airport

The dream of constructing an iconic and spectacular third terminal at HSIA, which began in December 2019, has finally become a reality today.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the impressive third terminal today, using the slogan "transforming dreams into reality." Prior to the ceremony, the prime minister took a tour of the terminal, inspecting the various amenities and engaging with the airport staff.

The third terminal project, with a cost of Tk 21,300 crore, began on December 28, 2019.

The third terminal covers an area of 542,000 square meters and boasts a floor space of 230,000 square meters, featuring 115 check-in counters, 66 departure immigration desks, 59 arrival immigration desks, and 3 VIP immigration desks.
