2-Day National Conference of Jasad Begins Today

The two-day triennial Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-Jasad National Conference will begin in Dhaka on Friday.

The opening program of the Council meeting will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. at the Institution of Engineers in Ramna, Dhaka.

Party President Hasanul Haq Inu will chair the opening session and invite lawmakers from different political parties expected to attend the gathering, and Party Secretary-General Shirin Akter will oversee the session, Party sources said.

The conference of the Council will take place at the Auditorium of the Institution of Engineers after the start of the meeting on Friday.

The council session will continue on Saturday to elect a new central committee of the party.

More than 60 districts have already held councils among the party's 80 political districts.

More than 12,000 party councilors, members, and analysts from across the nation will join the council, said the party insiders.

The last conference of the party was held in Dhaka in 2016.
