Private Participation Will Help Overcome Coronavirus Crisis: Quader

Awami League Secretary-General Obaidul Quader said on Wednesday that private involvement, along with the government, would help to solve the coronavirus crisis.

He came up with a remark at a briefing this morning.

"It is a matter of hope that at this time the rich have come forward for the welfare of the country. All of them are donating to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. Most of them are helping the unemployed and the extremely poor on their own initiative.

“I thank all the people and organizations who have stood by the people in this time of crisis.”

He said the Bashundara Group has come forward on humanitarian grounds. It has built a large hospital for coronavirus treatment.

He thanked  Bashundhara Group for coming together to tackle the coronavirus problem.
