JL Leader DJ Shakhil, 2 Aides Remanded for 5 days

A Bogura court has placed Jubo League leader Md Rabbi Shakil alias DJ Shakil and his two cohorts on a five-day remand in a case filed for loan forgery.

Bogura Senior Judicial Magistrate Billal Hossain passed the remand order when police produced them before the court on Thursday seeking a 10-day remand.

Earlier on Wednesday, Bogura businessman Md Amanat Ullah Tareq, who filed the case against the trio for siphoning off Tk14.35 lakh in the name of approving loan from his company ‘International Loan Service’.

Bogura police arrested DJ Shakil and two of his associates after filing of the case.
