Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque said the
recommendations made by pro-BNP lawyers on Khaleda Zia's release were being
scrutinized. He said it was being examined whether there was any precedent for
release in any other country in the manner recommended by the pro-BNP lawyers.
The decision will be announced soon.
He
was speaking at his office in Gulshan on Wednesday (December 8th) afternoon
while talking about the verdict in the murder case of BUET student Abrar Fahad.
Law
Minister Anisul Haque said that the murder of BUET student Abrar has been tried
in a fair and just manner. Gratitude to the prosecution team and the judiciary.
This judgment of the wise court has proved that there is rule of law in our
country. No one will be able to go around without committing such murder or
crime. Since it is a death reference, its documents are called paper books.
We'll get to work soon. So that there is no delay in the High Court for making
the paper book.
Regarding
the release of Khaleda Zia, the law minister said, "We are looking into
whether there is any precedent of release in any other country in the manner
recommended by the pro-BNP lawyers." The decision will be announced soon.
