Joynal Hazari's First Janaza Held at Baitul Mukarram

The first namaz-e-janaza for Joynal Hazari was held at Baitul Mukarram Mosque in Dhaka at 10 am on Tuesday, reports media.

Awami League leaders and people from all walks of life joined the funeral prayers.

Hazari, an advisory council member of the ruling party and also a former lawmaker from Feni, breathed his last around 5:25pm at LabAid Hospital on Monday.

The 75-year-old political leader was admitted to the hospital on December 15 with lung infections, cardiac and kidney problems.

After the janaza in Dhaka, the body was taken to Feni for the second one.

Joynal Hazari will be laid to eternal rest at Mujib Uddayan, adjacent to his Masterpara residence in Feni town.
