AL Will Be on Alert All Over the Country on Dec 30: Quader

Awami League will be on alert on the day of BNP's mass rally on December 30, said the party's General Secretary Obaidul Quader.

He said, like December 10, we will be on alert throughout the country on December 30.

He said these things in response to a question during an exchange of views with journalists in the conference room of the ministry on Thursday (December 29).

Commenting that the fare of Dhaka metro rail is not high compared to other countries, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that it is not Kolkata metro, it has very modern technology.

Obaidul Quader said, now you have to pay a minimum fare of Tk 20 when you get into a rickshaw. Apart from this, our metro rail is very advanced in terms of technology. There will be no noise on our Metrorail.

He also said that the metro rail of Dhaka is not the same as the metro rail of other countries. Our metro rail fare is not more than Malaysia and Thailand, time will also be saved. Uttara can be reached in 38 minutes from Motijheel. The condition of Dhaka, there will be so far in just 38 minutes.
