Khaleda Zia under Intensive Care for 72 Hours

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will be under the close supervision of doctors from hospital admission for the next 72 hours.

The decision was taken by the members of the medical board in a meeting regarding the treatment of two blocks in Khaleda Zia's heart.

The media wing of BNP has confirmed this information about Khaleda Zia's latest health condition on Sunday (April 30) citing her doctors.

The media wing informed that the 10-member medical board will decide on the treatment of the two blocks in Khaleda Zia's heart after receiving all the physical examination reports.

Earlier on Saturday (April 29), the BNP Chairperson was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital for the seventh time.

It should be noted that Khaleda Zia is suffering from various diseases including liver cirrhosis, kidney, arthritis, diabetes, eye complications. In June last year, Begum Zia was diagnosed with three blocks in her heart. One block was then ringed, but two blocks remained to be treated.
