At the BNP's large demonstration in the capital, someone passed away from a heart attack.

At the BNP's major gathering in the capital's Nayapaltan neighborhood on Friday (July 28) afternoon, Mahmudur Rahman Mahmud, a member of Narayanganj City BNP, passed away after an unexpected heart attack.

Witnesses claimed Mahmud suffered a heart attack while marching in a parade and shouting slogans. He was afterwards brought to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where the attending physicians declared him dead.

Dhaka City BNP's member secretary Advocate Abu Al Yusuf Khan Tipu said Mahmud, who was on the frong row, fell sick when he was going to Nayapaltan with a procession. The on-duty doctors pronounced him dead when the leaders and workers rushed him to the DMCH.
