Leaders of BNP themselves disappointed in their movement: Kader

Awami League General Secretary and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader said that their leaders are disappointed in BNP's movement. They gathered their leaders and activists with showing false benefits as they will come to power. People's conference did not take place in these gatherings, participation did not take place.

He said this after paying tributes at the tomb of Ivy Rahman at Banani Cemetery on the occasion of his 19th death anniversary on Thursday (August 24).

Obaidul Quader said that their leaders are disappointed in the movement of BNP. How will the mass movement without the people? There is no material situation of movement in this country. Movement requires two things. One is objective and the other is subjective. They (BNP) have no objective condition, no subjective preparation.

General Secretary of Awami League said that the murder of August 21 was a well-planned. In Bangladesh, the politics of assassinations and conspiracies started since 1975 and is continuing.

Mentioning the Bangabandhu family and Awami League as the main target of assassination and conspiracy politics, he said, wiping out the leadership of Awami League and to wipe out Bangabandhu's family, from August 15, 1975 to November 3, 1975 and August 21, 2004 is a saga.
