Khaleda Zia’s Physical Condition Not in Good Condition

Khaleda Zia, the head of the BNP, is not in enough health to drive her home. The BNP chief's medical team stated on Sunday that it is currently unclear when she would be allowed to leave the hospital.

For the past 18 days, Khaleda Zia has been receiving care at the capital's Evercare Hospital.

Prof. AZM Zahid Hossain, the personal physician of the BNP chairman, said when questioned about the evolution of her medical health, "Madam's certain physical problems are better, but not in excellent condition. She must continue to watch the physicians very carefully. She will need to stay in the hospital for a few more days as a result.

Dr. Zahid said, "She is not in a physical condition to take her home."

Khaleda was taken to the hospital in the evening on August 9 with fever.

She has more complications in his liver. Though there is some improvement, but the doctors are not able to say exactly how many days she will have to stay in the hospital.

Dr Zahid said, "Madam's condition is stable. She has no fever now. But there found still complications of her old diseases."
