BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's physical condition has deteriorated slightly. She has been admitted to the capital's Evercare Hospital since August 9 due to various physical complications.
According to BNP sources, other diseases have increased in Khaleda Zia's body due to increased complications of liver cirrhosis. From the night of September 3, her physical condition started to deteriorate. Even on September 4, there was no improvement in her condition. As a result, the doctors of the medical board met and brought changes in some medicines. At the same time, it has been decided to keep the BNP leader under close observation.
BNP health affairs secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam said, 'The condition of the party chairperson is the same as before. Rather, his liver complications are affecting other functions.'
BNP Chairperson's media wing member Shamsuddin Didar said, 'I came from the hospital around 11:30 pm. Madam (Khaleda Zia) condition is not good. The doctors are in the hospital.'
Before this, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital with various physical complications on August 9. Before that, in June last year, when the BNP leader underwent an angiogram, three blocks were found in her heart. A ring is implanted in one of them.
