Khaleda’s Family Seeks Permission again to Send Her Abroad

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's family has once again appealed to the government to take her abroad for better treatment. She is currently undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. The appeal was made to the Ministry of Home Affairs last Tuesday (September 5).

Khaleda Zia's younger brother, Shamim Iskandar, told the media this Friday (September 8). In this regard, Khaleda Zia's private secretary, ABM Abdus Sattar, said that She had heard about the appeal.

Regarding Khaleda Zia's physical condition, her personal doctor and BNP Vice Chairman AZM Zahid Hossain said that her doctors are worried about Khaleda Zia's health condition as liver and kidney problems are becoming more complicated.

Khaleda Zia was admitted to the hospital on August 9 with various physical complications.

Regarding Begum Khaleda Zia's bail, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Advocate Anisul Haq said that her six-month bail will expire on September 24 this year. She will be released on conditional release as before.
