Awami League Sitting over System Like a Heavy Stone: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that the ruling Awami League government is sitting over the system like a heavy stone.

He made this call in a discussion meeting in memory of the former chairman of the council and the trustee of the Gono Shastho Kendra Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury held today Monday (September 11) at the National Press Club. The initiative was taken by Bhasani Anusari Parishad.

He urged everyone to continue the movement unitedly saying that victory is certain.

Mirza Fakhrul said, people are irritated today. Every person does not want to see this government from the heart. Now the time is very short, let's unite together and continue the struggle. Victory is assured to us.

Mirza Fakhrul highlighted various aspects of Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury's life. He said, I don't know how much respect Zafarullah Bhai has received from the country, but the nation will remember him forever. He only worked for human welfare. He left his ideals behind.

BNP Secretary General said, the people of this country are repeatedly asking the government to leave. Do not want to see them in power. But this government has no intention to leave. Zafrullah Bhai has made these protests. His aim was to overthrow this fascist government and establish a democratic government.

He said, Zafrullah Bhai has struggled with the dream of the liberation war. Let us fight unitedly to save this country and nation. In this case, the youth should come forward to protect this country and nation.
