Khaleda Zia Under Close Observation, No Improvement In Treatment

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is under close observation of the medical board in the critical care unit (CCU) cabin of Evercare Hospital in the capital.

BNP's media wing official Shayrul Kabir Khan gave this information on Tuesday (September 26).

He said, "I contacted Professor AZM Zahid Hossain, a member of Madam's (Khaleda Zia) Medical Board, at 5 pm. He said the chairperson is under close observation of the medical board. Dr. Zahid asked everyone to pray for him.

BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam said, 'Madam's physical condition has not improved. He has been in the same condition for the past few days. He has been kept under close observation of the medical board.

Dr. Rafiqul Islam said, "In the past, we have seen that AS Abdur Rab, former Health Minister Nasim or Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and MP Haji Salim went abroad for treatment. If the government had allowed Khaleda Zia to undergo treatment abroad from the beginning, she would not have been in this situation.
