Khaleda Zia Currently On The Brink Of Death: BNP

Legal Secretary of BNP, Barrister Kayser Kamal, said that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is currently on the brink of death. He said this while talking to reporters at the Supreme Court on Saturday (September 30).

Barrister Kayser Kamal said, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been taken to CCU several times. Her condition is critical. Her treatment is not possible in Bangladesh.

He said, you know the Law Minister made a public statement last September 22, that Khaleda Zia needs to apply for treatment abroad. Following his words, Khaleda Zia's younger brother Shamim Iskandar filed an application on behalf of the family on September 25. The application is yet to be disposed of. Nothing has been officially announced.

Barrister Kaiser Kamal said that Khaleda Zia has been released by the government's executive order under section 401 of the law. It is possible for Khaleda Zia to receive treatment abroad in that law. If the government is willing. We expect the government to announce its decision very soon. Khaleda Zia's family is still hoping for humanity to save her life.
